Elephant Seals
Southern Elephant Seals come ashore on South Georgia Island in fantastic numbers that cover every available beach. The 8000-pound males protect harems of 10 to 40 females against marauding males. Fights break out all over the beach as the cranky males never get a break from the mating game.
